Tuition Fees 2022–2023
Tuition fees are based on the lenght of weekly lessons (30–90 minutes). There are 35 teaching weeks in the 2022–2023 school year, 17 of which are held during the fall and 18 during the spring. The price list shows the semester fee which is billed twice per school year.
Payment information
Invoices are delivered as e-invoices or by post at the beginning of the semester. The student pays a tuition fee according to the price list for the classes enrolled. The student / guardian should contact the office to arrange a payment arrangement. A payment reminder fee of €10 will be charged. All unattended payments shall be transferred to the debt collection agency.
In case of previous recorded payment defaults, the student’s tuition fees must be paid in full before the beginning of the new semester. Due to unpaid tuition fees, students may be denied access to classes.
We recommend ordering invoices as e-invoices in your own online bank. You will find the invoicer by the name of Keravan Tanssiopiston Kannatusyhdistys ry. To order an e-invoice, you will need your customer number, which is on your previous invoice. Mark your customer number as K + customer number. If you’re a new student, you can sign up for an e-invoice while paying the first paper bill you receive.
The office only takes a cash payment. You can also pay with Smartum banknotes and mobile payments, Eazybreak mobile banknotes and ePassi Sporttipassi online payment.

The invoice is based on the selected weekly lessons, with the longest lesson billed according to the price of the first weekly hour. For example: You choose one 90 min and one 60 min lesson, you pay € 291 + € 176 = € 467.

Studies in the extensive field of basic art education can be tailored to the student’s situation (HOPS). A personal curriculum is prepared with the Principal before the start of the academic year. If the student does not take all the lessons included in the extensive field based lessons, the tuition fee is based on the tuition fee table.
Extended field package rates do not apply to students who have already completed a extended field course and have obtained a certificate of completion.
Discounts and surcharges
Family discount €20
The tuition fee grants a family discount to the second and subsequent residents of the same household.
Supplement for the outside locality students €20
Supplement for the outside locality students is added to the tuition of students living outside Kerava or Sipoo.
Additional fee for representative groups €58
Representative groups perform more frequently than other groups during the school year. The cost of teaching and clothing the representative group attending is higher than those of other groups.
Financially supported students
On August 27th 2013, the board of Kerava Dance Institute Supporting Association made a decision to grant financially supported student places. Financially supported student placement may be applied for by a student in a extended or general line of study who has a legitimate need. The beneficiary of the financially supported student placement is granted a reduction in tuition fees and is awarded for the entire school year.
Applying for a financially supported student placement is done before the school year starts in August through a free-form application, reasoning the need for financial support and contact information for the student and / or Guardian. The application is addressed to Rector Irmeli Toiviainen and can be sent either by e-mail or post. The applicant must be enrolled in the application phase. Decisions will be notified in person before the start of the school year.
